{"id":94,"date":"2021-06-23T21:26:29","date_gmt":"2021-06-23T19:26:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/klienti\/zastupitelstvi\/domains\/z\/www\/?page_id=94"},"modified":"2024-06-26T16:54:35","modified_gmt":"2024-06-26T14:54:35","slug":"accreditation","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/parleu2022.cz\/media\/accreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"Accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>ACCREDITATION FOR THE CONFERENCE OF SPEAKERS OF THE EUROPEAN UNION PARLIAMENTS (EUSC)<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accreditation for the Conference of Speakers of the European Union Parliaments will open <strong>on Wednesday 12 April 2023 at 14:00 and will close on Tuesday 18 April 2023 at 18:00.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Press points of the Conference of Speakers of the European Union Parliaments (EUSC) in the Prague Congress Center (PCC):<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>MONDAY 24. 4.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>11:30 am<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nCongress Center Prague<br \/>\n<strong>Photo session + doorstep: Troika session<\/strong><br \/>\nThe Speakers of the Parliaments of the <strong>Czech Republic, Slovenia, Spain and the<\/strong> <strong>European Parliament<\/strong> will meet on the occasion of the opening of the Conference of Speakers of the EU Parliaments for a working meeting. Before the meeting, there will be an opportunity for a photo session and a statement for the media. <strong>The arrival of accredited media<\/strong> for the introductory photo session (handshake, family photo) and doorstep <strong>is possible until 10:30 am at entrance No. 5 of the PCC.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>12:30 pm<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nCongress Center Prague<br \/>\n<strong>Photo session: Arrivals of delegations<\/strong><br \/>\nThe President of the Czech Senate, <strong>Milo\u0161 Vystr\u010dil<\/strong>, and the Speaker of the Czech Chamber of Deputies, <strong>Mark\u00e9ta Pekarov\u00e1 Adamov\u00e1<\/strong>, will welcome members of foreign delegations upon their arrival at Congress Center. The arrival of accredited media for the introductory photo session (handshakes) is possible until 11:30 am at entrance No. 5 of the PCC.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>1:30 pm<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nCongress Center Prague, Main Hall<br \/>\n<strong>Part I of the EUSC conference: Russian aggression in Ukraine and the EU’s response in the wider geopolitical context<\/strong><br \/>\nThe first part of the conference in the PCC will begin at 1:30 pm with a welcome speech by <strong>Milo\u0161 Vystr\u010dil<\/strong> and <strong>Mark\u00e9ta Pekarov\u00e1 Adamov\u00e1<\/strong>. The guests will then discuss the topic „Russian aggression in Ukraine and the EU’s response in the wider geopolitical context“ with the subtitles: EU enlargement, energy security and post-war reconstruction. Among the speakers will be the Chairman of the Supreme Council of Ukraine, <strong>Ruslan Stefanchuk<\/strong>, as well as the Chairman of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, <strong>El\u017cbieta Witek<\/strong>, the Chairman of the Swedish Riksdag, <strong>Andreas Norl\u00e9n<\/strong>, and the Chairman of the Spanish Congress of Deputies, <strong>Meritxell Batet Lama\u00f1a<\/strong>. The discussion on the first part of the conference will continue after the joint photo session from 4:30 pm.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>4:00 pm<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nCongress Center Prague<br \/>\n<strong>Joint photo session of the heads of delegations<\/strong><br \/>\nHeads of delegations attending the Conference of Presidents of EU Parliaments will be photographed together. <strong>The arrival of accredited media<\/strong> for the photo session (family photo) <strong>is possible until 3:15 pm at entrance No. 5 of the PCC.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>TUESDAY 25. 4.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>9:30 am<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nCongress Center Prague, Main Hall<br \/>\n<strong>II. part of the EUSC conference: The role of the EU in the global cooperation of democracies and the problem of member states‘ dependence on totalitarian regimes<\/strong><br \/>\nOn the second day, the conference program will continue from 9:30 am. The opening remarks will be made by Senate President <strong>Milo\u0161 Vystr\u010dil<\/strong> and Minister of Foreign Affairs <strong>Jan Lipavsk\u00fd<\/strong>. The speakers will further focus on the topic „The role of the EU in the global cooperation of democracies and the problem of the dependence of member states on totalitarian regimes“ with the subtitles: information war, disinformation, security of supply chains and strategic autonomy. The President of the European Parliament <strong>Roberta Metsola<\/strong>, the President of the Senate of the Republic of Poland <strong>Tomas Grodzki<\/strong> and the President of the National Council of Austria <strong>Wolfgang Sobotka<\/strong> will speak on this topic.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><em>1:30 pm<\/em><\/strong><br \/>\nCongress Center Prague, terrace 2A<br \/>\n<strong>Press conference of Speakers of both Chambers of the Parliament of the Czech Republic<\/strong><br \/>\nPresident of the Senate<strong> Milo\u0161 Vystr\u010dil <\/strong>and Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies <strong>Mark\u00e9ta Pekarov\u00e1 Adamov\u00e1<\/strong> will summarize the conclusions of the Conference of Presidents of Parliaments of the European Union and related events at a joint briefing. The arrival of accredited media for the press briefing is possible until 12:45 pm at entrance No. 5 of the PCC.<\/p>\n<h3>TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF ACCREDITATIONS FOR MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The rules and guidelines for accreditation of media representatives are defined on the basis of recommendations and rules for accreditations of journalists and press centres of the General Secretariat of the Council of the European Union (GSC).<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Media accreditations are granted exclusively to media representatives based on an official request filed by the management of the relevant editor office. All personal data will be processed in line with the GDPR rules applicable to the whole accreditation process.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All accredited journalists must adhere to the general rules of operation of the press centres and other specific rules defined in advance by the Czech Presidency (CZ PRES) team.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CZ PRES accreditation team reserves the right to revoke accreditations of any journalist whose conduct disrupts the smooth running of the event or the operation of the press centre and press conferences.<\/p>\n<p><!--\n\n\n<h3>HOW TO GET ACCREDITATION<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Accreditation can be obtained only through the<a href=\"https:\/\/accreditation.eu2022.cz\/\"> official accreditation system of the Czech Presidency<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">When you first register in the accreditation system, please select the \u201cMedia\/Press\u201d type of account. Then register by entering your name, surname and e-mail address. You will receive an e-mail from the accreditation system, inviting you to activate your account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">After that you will determine your password that will allow you to enter the accreditation system at any time during the Czech Presidency and to supplement or modify your data as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The bookmark \u201cAll events\u201d in the accreditation system provides a list of events for which you can accredit as part of the Czech Presidency. If accreditation for the relevant event has been launched, the system will enable you to open the accreditation form. To successfully complete your registration for an event under the Czech Presidency, it is necessary to upload the following documents:<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n \t\n\n<li>a copy of your press card or a copy of a document proving you are a journalist employed in the media organisation indicated<\/li>\n\n\n \t\n\n<li>your photo<\/li>\n\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please check thoroughly all the entered data, make sure to fill in the documents and names correctly including the diacritics and punctuation, exactly as they are shown in your documents. By completing the registration form you have officially applied for accreditation for the event of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you have any questions, you can write an e-mail to: <a href=\"mailto:accreditation@parleu2022.cz\">accreditation@parleu2022.cz<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">IMPORTANT: Accreditations are <strong>closed 8 days before the event<\/strong>. Please note that every registration is subject to an approval process. For that reason, it is not possible to accept accreditation registrations later.<\/p>\n\n\n--><\/p>\n<h3>CONDITIONS FOR ACCREDITATION OF JOURNALISTS<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Media accreditation for events of the parliamentary dimension of the CZ PRES is accessible only for representatives of the press, radio and television based on an official application filed by the management of the relevant editor office. Journalists who represent internet news portals must meet the following criteria:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">the website of the online media must be a professional website with a specific verifiable address and a telephone number. The majority of the content of the website must consist of original news, commentaries or analyses and must be updated at least once a week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please note that you cannot receive an accreditation if you:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>are not a representative of any media,<\/li>\n<li>represent think tanks or interest groups,<\/li>\n<li>are lobbyists or consultants or individuals who have a professional side activity that is deemed incompatible with a press accreditation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>ACCREDITATION BADGES (ENTRY CARDS) FOR THE MEETING VENUE<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The accreditation badges (entry cards) are valid only for the specific event for which they were issued. Please note that you must obtain a separate accreditation for each event and, therefore, also a separate (new) accreditation badge.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">You can pick up your accreditation badge at the venue of the event at the accreditation desk that will be opened one hour before the start of the event. In order to collect your badge, you must show your national ID card or a valid passport, and your press card.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Please be reminded that it is prohibited to publish any photo of the QR code printed on the received badge on the internet or social media. Similarly, all accredited journalists undertake not to have any photo of the badge published by a third party on the internet or the social media.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Accreditation withdrawal<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The CZ PRES accreditation team reserves the right to withdraw an accreditation and an issued accreditation badge from any journalist who disrupts with their conduct the smooth running of an event, operation of the press centre, a press conference or other activity of the CZ PRES.<\/p>\n<h3>GENERAL RULES OF THE OPERATION OF CZ PRES PRESS CENTRES<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Access to press centres set up by the CZ PRES team for specific events organised as part of the CZ PRES is reserved mainly for journalists, delegation members and the CZ PRES staff.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The accreditation badge granted according to the CZ PRES rules must be worn in a visible place. The press accreditation procedures are explained on the official website of the parliamentary dimension of the CZ PRES (parleu2022.cz).<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Journalists have priority access to places in the press rooms where official press conferences of the CZ PRES will be held.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Journalists have priority access to the workstations in the press centre.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Press representatives who will participate in photo pools (photo\/television imaging opportunities) must:\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">arrive at a time specified in advance by the team of the CZ PRES press centres;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">make sure that the camera microphones are set so that they record only the background noise (not conversations); if any conversation is recorded despite such setting, such recordings shall not be used;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">observe the security distances defined in the zone dedicated for recording;<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">leave the meeting room as soon as a signal is given by the accompanying staff of the press centre team;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">During press conferences, the television crews and photographers must take care to ensure that they do not disrupt the smooth running of the meeting.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">It is prohibited to film or photograph security devices and security staff.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">During press events, journalists may speak and ask questions only after they are invited to do so by the moderator who says their name and name of the media organisation they represent.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">Documents from sources of third parties may be disseminated in the press area only with previous consent of the press centre staff.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\">The press centre team does not bear responsibility for any lost property of the media representatives.
